SEPT 26. 11am-4pm (EST)
Aguas Arts Ink is dedicated to expanding access to excellent education as espoused by the heroes of the civil rights movement through our education initiative, Aguas Institute. SO YOU WANNA GO TO COLLEGE? is the first in a series of college pathways programs designed to assist BIPOC and minoritized students. Patterned after services usually only available to students in private/boarding schools, the workshop aims to demystify the college preparation and application process. Is college only for the middle class and above? What does the college essay entail? Our panelists will address topics such as parental pressure, mental health, and travel abroad opportunities in HS. SO YOU WANNA GO opens up the world of opportunities presented by a college education to all students.
